风和日丽的劳工节正式为炎热的夏天和休闲的暑假划下了句号，也为我们迎来了又一个暂新的学年。我在这里代表十峰中文学校的全体教工欢迎各位家长和同学们返校，也欢迎新朋友、新同学来加入我们的大家庭！
今年是十峰中文学校建校十周年。在以往的数年里，我们的学校在各位家长、老师和同学们的支持下，不断地成长，不断地扩大，不断地成熟。我们已从一个由几个家庭自愿组成的小团体，成长为有近百个家庭组成，在社区已颇具影响力的中国语言和文化的中心。我们的中文学校拥有广大无私奉献的家长，拥有经过专业培训的教师团队，更拥有好学可爱的学生。为了加深学生学习中文的兴趣，促进师生的互动，我们学校一直倡导小班教学。寓教于乐是我们的教学原则，弘扬中国文化以及为社区建立一个温馨有爱的家是我们的目的。
在这新的学年开始之际，我祝愿各位同学在未来的一年里，学有所成；各位老师，教有所长；各位家长，广交挚友。谢谢大家的支持!

A warm welcome to Dix Hills Chinese School!
Each beginning of the year is a wonderful time of greeting familiar faces and getting to know many new ones. As the year unfolds, we create special memories, and we grow as a community and family. It is my pleasure to work in unity with you to provide the warm and supportive environment for our children and families. Our staff is committed to meeting the needs of every child as well as motivating them to be more responsible for their learning.
With each new beginning comes the opportunity to reshape and mold our school into the place we want it to be. We continue to develop our school-wide themes highlighting caring, respect, and love for language learning. We implement small-class teaching and differentiate teaching methods in our classrooms. I am proud to say that we have the most supportive parents, the best professionally trained teachers, and the loveliest students. Thank you for your ongoing support.
